Maintenance Service Manager

About the Role

The Maintenance Service Manager position reports to the Facility Solutions Director and will lead,
support and coordinate commercial facility maintenance.

Duties

  • Foster and enhance owner, asset/property manager, client and vendor relations

  • Publish and coordinate preventative maintenance schedules and technician work orders

  • Perform property inspections with field technicians to record areas of deficiency and required improvements

  • Manage budgets and financial reporting, ensuring customer charges are correct and all costs captured

  • Manage and oversee field operations and client satisfaction

  • Estimating and quoting requested work, ensuring successful performance against quoted rates

  • Develop and administer job contract and subcontract agreements

  • Interact with leadership teams including owners, vendors and internal organization

  • Maintain strong working relationships with key vendor partners

Requirements

  • Extensive background in commercial building maintenance, repair and operations. Field level experience preferred

  • Thorough knowledge of maintenance processes, scheduling, estimating, purchasing and technical performance

  • Experience and proficiency with work order systems, preventative maintenance, life safety, building inspections and reporting

  • Efficient written and verbal communication abilities; experience with business computer applications including Microsoft

  • Ability to read, understand and interpret contract documents, drawings, specifications, scopes of work and project schedule
