About the Role
The Maintenance Service Manager position reports to the Facility Solutions Director and will lead,
support and coordinate commercial facility maintenance.
Duties
Foster and enhance owner, asset/property manager, client and vendor relations
Publish and coordinate preventative maintenance schedules and technician work orders
Perform property inspections with field technicians to record areas of deficiency and required improvements
Manage budgets and financial reporting, ensuring customer charges are correct and all costs captured
Manage and oversee field operations and client satisfaction
Estimating and quoting requested work, ensuring successful performance against quoted rates
Develop and administer job contract and subcontract agreements
Interact with leadership teams including owners, vendors and internal organization
Maintain strong working relationships with key vendor partners
Requirements
Extensive background in commercial building maintenance, repair and operations. Field level experience preferred
Thorough knowledge of maintenance processes, scheduling, estimating, purchasing and technical performance
Experience and proficiency with work order systems, preventative maintenance, life safety, building inspections and reporting
Efficient written and verbal communication abilities; experience with business computer applications including Microsoft
Ability to read, understand and interpret contract documents, drawings, specifications, scopes of work and project schedule
